2025 Monochrome Awards

Truly honored to be recognized today with two Honorable Mentions at the 2025 Monochrome Awards.
The first recognition was for “Ferns,” captured in the wild, untamed beauty of Cumberland Island, where light, texture, and time all seem to slow down. The second Honorable Mention was awarded to “Mist,” photographed in the Adirondacks, a moment defined by atmosphere, quiet, and the subtle drama that only fog, trees, and mountains can create.
Black and white photography has always been about stripping a scene down to its essence—light, shadow, mood, and story. To have these images recognized on an international stage is truly meaningful. Huge thanks to the Monochrome Awards judges, and to the landscapes that continue to inspire this work every time I step into them.
